Picked up RZA's The Tao of Wu earlier today. Few chapters in and I've been diggin every word of it. The chapter titled "Gangster Chi" opens with the following quote:
"If you let a man smack you in the face, you display power and grace. But if he smacks you again? Engage with wisdom and defeat him. You only got two cheeks."
This impressive collection of the RZA's profound wisdom is a must read for any hip hop head. Stories of Chess battling, project living, and training at the Shaolin Temple, RZA speaks parables that contain lessons on knowledge of self, meditation, and human intelligence.
